Elections
2012
Henry ran for Texas Railroad Commission in 2012. He was unopposed in the May 29 Democratic Primary.
Beryl Burgess, Warren Chisum, Christi Craddick, Joe Cotten, Roland Sledge and Becky Berger sought the Republican nomination. Since no candidate won more than 50 percent of the vote, the top two vote getters - Craddick and Chisum - faced off in a runoff election on July 31, which Craddick won.[1]
Vivekananda Wall ran as a Libertarian and Chris Kennedy ran for the Green Party.
Christi Craddick (R) defeated Henry in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2]
Incumbent Buddy Garcia (R) was appointed to serve in the seat until the general election and did not run for election.[3]
