Dan Moody was a Republican member of the Georgia State Senate. He served the 56th District from 2003-2011. Moody did not seek re-election in 2010.

Moody was Precinct Chair for the Republican Party. He has also been a delegate to the State Republican Convention and to the District Republican Convention.

Moody is a retired Captain for the United States Army Reserves. He is currently a Process Engineer and Business Owner.

Committee assignments



On November 4, 2008, Moody won re-election to the Georgia Senate from Georgia's 56th Senate District. Moody received 44,810 votes in the election, defeating Akhtar Sadiq (D), who received 22,296 votes.[1]
