Roberts ran in the 2012 election for Idaho House of Representatives District 34A before running for District 34B of the State House. [1] He lost to incumbent Dell Raybould and John K. Baird in the May 15 Republican primary. Lary S. Larson was unopposed in the Democratic primary. The general election took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3][4]
