Dave Aronberg (born May 4, 1971, in Miami, Florida) is a former Democratic member of the Florida State Senate, representing District 27 from 2002 to 2010. On June 4, 2009, he announced his candidacy for the statewide office of attorney general, the seat vacated by Republican Bill McCollum, who ran for governor, in the 2010 election.[1] Aronberg failed to secure the Democratic nomination on Tuesday, August 24, 2010 after receiving slightly under forty-one percent of the vote.[2]

Biography

Aronberg earned his B.S. and J.D. from Harvard University in 1993 and 1996, respectively. His professional experience includes working as an assistant to the Florida Attorney General prosecuting economic crimes and special assistant to the Secretary of the United States Treasury Department prosecuting internal money laundering.
