David Adelman is a Democratic member of the Georgia State Senate. He has been a Senator since 2002 and currently serves the 42nd district.
Education
Adelman earned his BA from the University of Georgia in 1986. He went on to receive his JD from Emory University School of Law in 1989. He then earned his MPA from Georgia State University in 1995.
Professional experience
Adelman was Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia. He is currently partner for Sutherland Asbill and Brennan Limited Liability Partnership. He also currently works as Counsel for the Partnership Against Domestic Violence.
Political experience
Adelman joined the Georgia State Senate in 1992 and has served in that position since. He has been Senate Minority Whip since 2005, representing the 42nd district.
