David Floyd (b. October 2, 1951) is a Republican member of the [[Kentucky House of Representatives], representing District 50 and serving as Minority Whip. He was first elected to the chamber in 2004.

Floyd's professional experience includes working as the President of Windsor Gardens Retirement Communities. He served as an Operations Officer in the United States Air Force from 1973-1995.

Floyd won re-election in the 2012 election for Kentucky House of Representatives District 50. He defeated Donna A. Pegago in the Republican primary on May 22, 2012, and defeated Dick Heaton (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[3][4]
