On November 4, 2008, Watters finished second for the three-seat Strafford District 4 in New Hampshire receiving 2,566 votes, behind Democrats Peter Schmidt (2,624), and ahead of Democrat Brendon Browne (2,417) and Republican Matt Mayberry (1,624) and others (8).[3]
