A DeKalb County Waterworks Bond Measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in DeKalb and Platte Counties.

This measure sought to issue a bond in the amount of $1.5 million in order to pay for expanding and improving the current waterworks system as well as pay for current maintenance costs of the system.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Shall Public Water Supply District No. 1 of DeKalb County, Missouri, issue its waterworks system revenue bonds in the amount of $1,500,000.00 for the purpose of extending and improving the waterworks system of the District, the cost of operation and maintenance of said waterworks system and the principal of and interest on said revenue bonds to be payable solely from the revenues derived by the District from the operation of its waterworks system, including all future improvements and extensions thereto?
