A Delaware School District Levy Increase measure was on the November 8, 2011 ballot in the Delaware school district area of Delaware County.

This measure was approved

YES 5,761 (52.31%)a
NO 5,252 (47.69%)^[1]

This measure sought to increase the current property tax rate by as much as 8.5 mills, the actual rate of the levy is still being discussed by school board officials. The additional money from this increase will go towards filling the expected deficit from the decrease of state funding as well as lower property rates in the city. School attendance is also up meaning classes are more crowded. School officials were also thinking to ask for a bond issue at a later date.^[2]
