Dennis Algiere (b. July 30, 1960) has been a Republican member of the Rhode Island State Senate. He currently serves as Minority Leader. Algiere served on the Town Council for the Town of Westerly from 1990 to 1992. He joined the Rhode Island State Senate in 1992. He has served in the senate since 1992, representing the 38th district.

Algiere has worked as a bank executive. He is the Senior Vice President of the Washington Trust Company. He is also an attorney.

Algiere earned his BA from Providence College in 1982. He went on to receive his MS from Northeastern University in 1984. He then earned his JD from Southern New England School of Law in 1991.
