Dewayne Bunch (b. February 22, 1962) was a Republican member of the Kentucky House of Representatives, representing the 82nd District from his election in 2010 until 2011. He resigned in October of 2011 after being seriously injured while attempting to break up a school fight. A special election to replace him held on December 20, 2011, and Bunch's wife, Regina Bunch, was selected to replace him.[1][2]

Bunch is a teacher for the Whitley County Board of Education, and has been since 1992. Bunch graduated from Cumberland College in 1992 with a degree in Education. He earned his Master's degree from Union College in 1995, in Principal Certification.

Bunch ran unopposed in the November 2 general election. According to official results, Bunch received a total of 8,718 votes.[3]
