Russell-Natera won re-election in the 2012 election for Maine House of Representatives District 120. Russell-Natera ran unopposed in the June 12 Democratic primary and defeated Davian Akers (R) and Justine Lynn (G) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]

Russell-Natera's opponents in the November 2 general election were Republican candidate Thomas Elliman and American independent candidate Anna Trevorrow. According to unofficial results, Russell-Natera defeated Elliman and Trevorrow in the November 2 general election.[4]
