Prior to joining the NJPUB, Solomon served as Commissioner with the South Jersey Transportation Authority, which she was appointed to by Gov. Chris Christie (R) in 2010. She served on Christie's transition team after he was elected in 2009. Solomon's husband, Lee Solomon, was appointed by Christie to the NJPUB as well.
Solomon is an official with the United States Tennis Association, currently serving as Middle States New Jersey District Chair. She has also been an account administrator and executive director of the Philadelphia Holocaust Remembrance Foundation.
