Wells earned his BA in Political Science from Cambridge University. He has worked as an auto sales manager and served as Mayor of the City of Cabool.
Wells is Chairman of the South Central Ozark Council of Governments, Deacon at Trinity Freewill Baptist Church, and a member of the American Legion, Gentry Treatment Center Liaison Council, Gideons International, Kiwanis Club, Revolvement Loan Fund Board, Twin Cities Industry Board, and Veterans of Foreign Wars.[1]
