Wix is the Owner of the Don Wix Realty Company and served in the Americal Division Light Infantry, United States Army, Vietnam from 1970-1971
He is the Chairman of the Development Authority of Cobb County, Director of the South Cobb High School Education Foundation, and a member of the Marietta Kiwanis, Mt Psgah Baptist Church, Pebblebrook High School Cluster Foundation, and the South Cobb Lions Club.[1]
