Don Wix was a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 33rd District from 1999-2011.

Wix is the Owner of the Don Wix Realty Company and served in the Americal Division Light Infantry, United States Army, Vietnam from 1970-1971

He is the Chairman of the Development Authority of Cobb County, Director of the South Cobb High School Education Foundation, and a member of the Marietta Kiwanis, Mt Psgah Baptist Church, Pebblebrook High School Cluster Foundation, and the South Cobb Lions Club.[1]

Wix ran for re-election to the 33rd District seat in 2010. He lost to David Wilkerson by a margin of 1,608-1,464. The general election took place on November 2, 2010.

2008

In 2008 Wix was re-elected to the Georgia House of Representatives District 33. Wix (D) ran unopposed and finished with 18,678 votes.[2] Wix raised $46,300 for his campaign fund.[3]
