Lehe is co-owner and operator of Lehe Farms, Incorporated. He previously served in the Indiana National Guard.
Lehe is a member of the American Legion, Eagle Forum, Frontier Parent Teacher Organization, Knights of Columbus, National Federation of Independent Business, National Rifle Association, National Right to Life, Saint Ann's Catholic Church, White County 4-H Club, White County Community Foundation Board, and the Indiana Pork Producers State Executive Committee.[1]

Lehe won re-election in the 2012 election for Indiana House of Representatives District 25. Lehe defeated Franklyn Voorhies in the May 8 Republican primary[2] and defeated Shane Evans (D) in the general election, which took place on November 6, 2012. [3][4]

Lehe was endorsed by the National Rifle Association[5] and the Indiana Right to Life PAC on May 2, 2012.[6]
2010
Lehe defeated Democratic candidate Timothy Downs and Libertarian candidate Steve Helsel with 12,662 votes; Downs received 5,577 votes, and Helsel received 1,019 votes in the November 2 general election. [7]
In the May 4 primary election, Lehe defeated Art Anderson by a margin of 4,479 to 2,730 votes. [8]
