Dorsey Carson was a 2011 Democratic candidate for District 64 of the Mississippi House of Representatives.

Carson is a construction attorney in the Jackson office of the firm Burr & Forman. He also served as a special assistant attorney general during efforts to recover funds from state contractors convicted of fraud. He earned a B.A. from Mississippi State University and a J.D. from the University of Georgia.

Carson ran in the 2011 election for Mississippi House of Representatives District 64. He ran unopposed in the August 2 primary and was defeated by incumbent Republican William Denny, Jr. in the November 8 general election.[1][2]
