Dorsey Ridley (b. November 26, 1953) has been a Democratic member of the Kentucky Senate since 2004. He represents the 4th district.
Education
Ridley earned his BS in Business Administration from Western Kentucky University in 1975.
Professional experience
Ridley was owner of Ridley Buick Pontiac GMC from 1976 to 2000. He worked as President of Henderson County Independence Bank from 2004 to 2006. He has been the owner of Ridley and Company Limited Liability Company since 1998. He has also been Regional Business Development Director for Independence Bank since 2006.
Political experience
Ridley served in the Kentucky State House from 1987 to 1994. He later joined the Kentucky State Senate in 2004. He has served in that position since, representing the 4th district.
