Dover City Library Levy Implementation (May 2011)
This measure was approved
- YES 998 (73.01%)
- NO 369 (26.99%)
This measure sought to implement a levy of 1 mill for a period of five years in order to help provide funds for the Dover public library. This was the first levy asked for by the library, most of their funding came from the state but with budget cuts an alternative source of income was needed. Library officials noted that programs which had been cut from lack of funds will hopefully be able to be restored since this measure was approved.
