DuBose Porter (b. October 2, 1953) was a Democratic member of the Georgia House of Representatives, representing the 143rd District from 1983-2011. He was the House Minority Leader. Porter it did not seek re-election in 2010. He ran for Governor instead, losing in the primary.

Porter is an Attorney with Nelson & Porter, and has been a Newspaper Editor with the Dublin Courier Herald.

He is a member of the Georgia Press Association, Jekyll Island Foundation Board, Liberty Trustees Association, Nature Conservancy, and Trust for Historic Preservation.[1]
