Quam won re-election in the 2012 election for Minnesota House of Representatives District 25A. He was unopposed in the Republican primary on August 14 and defeated John Vossen (D) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

Quam won election to the District 29A Seat in 2010. He defeated Kerry Stoick in the August 10 Democratic primary. He defeated Douglas Wunderlich (DFL) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
