Biography
Rowe was elected Mayor of Tishomingo at the age of 18, becoming one of the youngest mayors in the country. At the age of 22, he became District Director for the newly-elected U.S. Rep. Wes Watkins. He is currently City Attorney in Tishomingo and runs his own law firm.
Elections
2012
Rowe ran in the 2012 election for the U.S. House, representing Oklahoma's 2nd District. Wallace sought the nomination on the Republican ticket. The signature filing deadline for candidates wishing to run was April 13, 2012. Pettigrew faced Markwayne Mullin, George Faught, Wayne Pettigrew, Dwayne Thompson, and Dakota Wood in the primary on June 26, 2012. The incumbent from the 2nd Congressional District is Dan Boren (D), who did not seek re-election in 2012. Rowe was defeated in the Republican primary on June 26, 2012. The top two vote getters, George Faught and Markwayne Mullin, will run in a runoff primary after no candidate received enough of the vote to win the nomination.[2]
