Dwight Craig Horn is a Republican member of the North Carolina House of Representatives, representing District 68. Horn was first elected in 2010.

He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1969. He later transitioned into the business world as a food broker and eventually opened a food service brokerage business with two other business partners. He has been active politically in his community as a three-term member of the Laurel City Council, which he chaired twice, and the Union County coordinator for McCrory's campaign for governor.

Horn and his wife, Loraine, live in Weddington Hills. They have four children and seven grandchildren.[1]

Horn ran for re-election in 2012. He ran unopposed in the May 8, 2012 Republican primary. He defeated Kenneth J. Baker (D) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2]

On November 2, 2010 Horn won election to the North Carolina House of Representatives. Horn defeated Jeffrey Gerber in the May 4 Republican primary by a margin of 4,675-2,821. Horn had no opponent in the November 2 general election. Thus barring unforeseen circumstances, Horn is guaranteed election. [3]
