AnEast County Fire & Rescue Increase of Board Members measure was on the November 3, 2009 ballot in Clark County.

The measure will increase the number of board members on the Fire & Rescue Commission from the current number of three permanent to five permanent. There are temporarily five members on the board since the merge between the county fire departments, but this measure will make that change permanent in order to better serve the area.

The ballot read:

"PROPOSITION NO. 1 As a result of a prior merger, the East County Fire & Rescue Board of Commissioners temporarily has five members. In order to retain the greater representation provided by a five member board, the Board of Commissioners unanimously approved Resolution No. 106-04212009 concerning a proposition to permanently increase the number of positions on the Board from three (3) to five (5) members."[2]
