East Dubuque Liquor Business Closing Times Measures, 2 (November 2010)
The first measure sought to make it that all businesses operating under a municipal liquor license would have to close at 2 a.m.
The second measure sought to make is so that businesses operating under "A" liquor licenses would close at 2 a.m. and those under "B" licenses would be closed at 3:30 a.m. and be grandfathered into that time as long as the ownership of the business did not change.
- YES 352
- NO 192
Both these measures were be non-binding, meaning the council still will have the final say, but they wanted to bring the issue to the voters to gauge their opinions on the matter.
