March 6, 2012 ballot in the East Holmes school district area which is in Holmes County.
The first measure sought to add to the current school levy by a rate $.37 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to pay for emergency requirements as needed in the school district.
- YES: 1,176 (49.10%)
- NO: 1,219 (50.90%)
The second measure sought to renew the current school levy which was set at a rate of $.10 per $100 of assessed property value for a further five years in order to pay for general improvement costs in the school district.[1]
