Ed Cannaday (b. October 31, 1940) is a Democratic member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He has represented the 15th District since 2006.

Cannaday served as a sergeant in the United States Army from 1959 to 1962. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Tulsa in 1968, and received his Master's degree in History and Government from UT in 1969. He owns a dairy farm and has worked as an educator and principal. He and his wife, Doris, have one child, Eric.

Cannady ran for re-election in the 2012 election for Oklahoma House District 15. Cannady ran unopposed in the June 26 Democratic primary and was unchallenged in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[1][2]

2010

Cannaday won re-election to the Oklahoma House of Representatives. He defeated Annie J. Goolsby in the Democratic primary by a margin of 4,111-826. Cannaday defeated Paul C. Parrott (R) in the general election on November 2, 2010.[3]
