Ed Schieffer (b. November 28, 1949) is a Democratic member of the Missouri House of Representatives, representing District 11 from 2007 to 2013, and District 41 since January 7, 2013.

Schieffer has worked as a farmer, real estate broker, teacher, and youth counselor. He earned his MS in Secondary Education from Southern Illinois University, and BS from Truman State University.

Schieffer is a member of the Communications Workers of American Local 6355, Farm Bureau, Lincoln County Democratic Club, Lincoln County Retired Teachers, Missouri State Teachers Association, Moscow Mills Methodist Church, National Rifleman Association, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and the Wesley Foundation. Schieffer won re-election in the 2012 election for Missouri House of Representatives, District 41. Schieffer ran unopposed in the August 7 Democratic primary and defeated Beverly A. Steiniger (R) in the general election which took place on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
