Two Edgebrook & North Park Fire District Consolidation Questions were on the April 5, 2011 ballot in the fire districts of Edgebrook and North Park which are in Winnebago County.

This measure was approved in both areas

  • YES 1,011 (85.2%)Approveda
  • NO 175 (14.8%)[1]

This measure sought to consolidate the Edgebrook Bradley Heights and North Park fire districts into one district and set one levy rate for all residents in the two fire districts. This question was asked in both fire districts.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall North Park Fire Protection District be consolidated with Edgebrook Bradley Heights Fire Protection District to organize North Park Fire Protection District and shall the maximum allowable tax rate for North Park Fire Protection District be set at .0040044 of the value of all taxable property within North Park Fire Protection District as equalized or assessed by the Department of Revenue?[3]
