Edgerton School District Revenue Override Measure (November 2012)
This measure sought to allow the district to go over the set revenue limit by $9.3 million over the course of fifteen years. The referendum was split in to two parts, $2.98 million of the money would go towards refinancing the district's pension debt and the remaining money would go towards building projects, technology upgrades and facility improvement projects in the district. If this measure is defeated, school officials estimate that the overall tax rate in the district would decrease around 1 percent.
