Edward Headington was a 2012 Democratic candidate for District 38 of the California State Assembly.

Headington earned his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California in 1998. He went on to receive his M.A. in Political Management from George Washington University in 2004.

Headington ran in the 2012 election for California State Assembly District 38. He advanced past the blanket primary on June 5, 2012, defeating Patricia McKeon (R) and Paul Strickland (R). Headington was defeated by Scott Wilk (R) in the general election on November 6, 2012.[2][3]
