Elections

2010

Martin was a Republican candidate challenging Russ Carnahan's run for re-election in the November 2, 2010 election. Election results showed that Carnahan won by 4,422 votes, which Martin challenged. Martin called for an independent investigation into the results the day after the election.[1]

On November 8, 2010, Martin announced that he conceded defeat to Carnahan.[2]
