An El Monte Prohibition on Overnight Street Parking, Measure RR was on the November 3, 2009 ballot in Los Angeles County for voters in the City of El Monte, where it was defeated. Measure RR was an advisory vote only.

  • No: 3,173 (61.01%) Defeated

The question on the ballot was, "Shall the City of El Monte institute an overnight parking regulatory program that would prohibit overnight street parking on most City streets between the hours of 3:00 A.M. and 5:00 A.M., subject to limited exceptions, including instances where residents and non-residents alike have purchased special street parking permits issued by the City."
