Attorney General J.B. Van Hollen announced Tuesday that the recently-established Elections Fraud Task Force has brought its first charge.[1]

Charges

Milwaukee County District Attorney John Chisholm has filed a criminal complaint against Ms. Endalyn Adams charging her with Falsely Procuring Voter Registration, a felony. Ms. Adams served as a Special Registration Deputy (SRD) from about July 1, 2008 until about August 15, 2008.[1]

Although trained and deputized as an SRD by the City of Milwaukee, Adams was paid to register voters by the Community Voters Project, a special interest group operating under the auspices of the Fund for the Public Interest. Ms. Adams is charged with submitting 45 forms, about twenty-seven or 60% of which contained information alleged to be false.[1]
