Elizabeth Chavez

Elizabeth Chavez is a Democratic member of the Idaho House of Representatives. Chavez has served in the Idaho House since 2006. Chavez was re-elected in November of 2008 with her term expiring in 2010.
Chavez graduated with her Bachelor's degree from Lewis-Clark State College in 1970.
Chavez is a retired teacher in Idaho's Public Schools.
Before becoming a Representative, Chavez was Chairwoman of the Nez Perce County Democrat Party from 2003 to 2006 and was a Precinct Committeewoman for the Nez Perce County Democrat Party from 1999 to 2006. Chavez also served as the Campaign Manager for former Idaho Representative Mike Mitchell from 2000 to 2004.
