A Elkton Village Medical Levy Addition measure was on the March 6, 2012 ballot in the village of Elkton which is in Preble County.

This measure sought to add to the current levy by a rate of $.125 per $100 of value for a period of five years in order to further pay for ambulance and emergency medical costs in the village.[2]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

An additional tax for the benefit of Village of West Elkton for the purpose of providing emergency ambulance/medical service at a rate not exceeding one and twenty-five hundredths (1.25) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to twelve and a half cents ($0.125) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2012, first due in calendar year 2013.
