Two Elmwood Place Village Levy Renewal measures was on the May 3, 2011 ballot in the village of Elmwood Place which is in Hamilton County.

Both measures were approved

The first measure renewed the current fire levy which is set at a rate of 2 mills for a period of five years in order to help pay for fire and emergency medical services offered in the village.

The second measure renewed the current police levy which is set at a rate of 1.5 mills for a period of five years in order to help pay for police protection services offered in the village.[1]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

A renewal of a tax for the benefit of the Village of Elmwood Place, County of Hamilton, Ohio, for the purpose of PROVIDING POLICE PROTECTION at a rate not exceeding one and five-tenths (1.5) mills for each one dollar of valuation, which amounts to fifteen cents ($0.15) for each one hundred dollars of valuation, for five (5) years, commencing in 2011, first due in calendar year 2012.[3]
