Eric Oemig is a Washington state senator, currently serving the 45th district.[1] He is serving his first term and is a member of the Democratic Party.
Education
Oemig earned his BS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, in 1990.
Professional experience
Oemig worked as a software engineer for Tekton Software from 1986 to 1988. He also worked as a software engineer for Cyborg Games from 1986 to 1990. From 1991 to 1999 he worked as a development manager for Microsoft Corporation. He founded Omega Labs in 1999 and has worked in that position since.
Political experience
Oemig is a Democratic Precinct Committee Officer. He joined the Washington State Senate in 2006 and has served in that position since. He represents the 45th district.
