There will be a Erie County Legislature Downsizing Measure on the November ballot in Erie County.

This measure seeks to downsize the current county Legislature from 15 members to 11. There have been several town legislature bodies that have been reduced which added pressure to the county body to also reduce their size. Opponents feel that less people will be represented with the lesser number but proponents see the 15 member body as overlapping.[1]
