Harris earned his B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Kentucky and his M.A. in Management from Webster University. His professional experience includes working as a United Postal Service Pilot, a Dairy and Tobacco Farmer and a Commercial Airline Pilot. He served as a Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force.
