Two Evans Fire District Re-Organization Questions were on the November 1, 2011 ballot in the Evans fire district area which is in Weld County.

Both measures were approved

The first measure sought to allow the re-organization of the district as designated in the proposed Service Plan.

  • NO 515 (28.56%)

The second measure sought to allow the district to allow the transfer of emergency services to the district and incorporate into the service plan.[1]

Text of measure

The question on the ballot:

Issue 2A: If and only if Ballot Issues 2B, 2C and 2D are approved by the voters during the November 1, 2011 election, shall the Evans Fire Protection District be organized in accordance with its approved Service Plan?

Issue 2D: SHALL THE INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT FOR THE TRANSFER OF EMERGENCY SERVICES BETWEEN THE CITY OF EVANS AND THE EVANS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT, AS INCORPORATED INTO THE APPROVED SERVICE PLAN OF THE EVANS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT AND AS MAY BE AMENDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH ITS TERMS, INCLUDING ALL FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE CITY AND THE DISTRICT CONTAINED THEREIN, BE APPROVED AND AUTHORIZED AS MULTIPLE FISCAL YEAR FINANCIAL OBLIGATIONS OF THE CITY AND DISTRICT?[3]
