Everett School District Replacement Levy, 2 (February 2010)

There were two Everett School District Replacement Levy measures on the February 9 ballot in Snohomish County for voters in the Everett school district.

Both measures were approved
Proposition 1

  • YES 13,094 (63.82%)Approveda
  • NO 7,422 (36.18%)

Proposition 2

  • YES 13,274 (64.55%)Approveda
  • NO 7,291 (35.45%)[1]

The first measure sought to renew an existing levy that was set to expire in order to further funding school programs and operation costs in the district. The levy will be in place for a further four years and will be at a rate of $2.52 per $1,000 of assessed value.

The second measure sought to add an additional $.60 for a further six years onto the already existing levy in order to help fund building repair and new technology upgrades in the district. [2]
