Fairfax Town Clerk, Measure D appeared on the November 4, 2008 ballot in Marin County for voters in the city of Fairfax.

The question was whether to make the office of Fairfax town clerk appointive. There are 11 cities and towns in Marin and 9 of them have changed to having an appointed clerk in recent years.

Measure D was defeated with 49.25% of the vote.
