Fake re-registration letters go out in South Dakota. Many citizens of South Dakota received letters from the Boston-based "Voter Participation Project" telling them they were required to re-register if they had moved. However, the Secretary of State has assured citizens that they are not required to re-register if they move, although it is encouraged. [1]
