False flyers announce separate partisan voting days in Virginia

CBS News-ARLINGTON, VA-Election officials in Virginia are warning voters that a series of flyers being passed out in cities around the state are bogus. The flyers claim Election Day for Republicans is Tuesday, November 4th but, the voting period for Democrats is a day later, November 5th.[1].
Misinformation Coming as Record Turnout Hits Virginia
According to the flyer, the 2-day election period is due to an overwhelming voter turnout, claiming there is one election day for Republicans registered in Virginia, and one for Democrats. The Virginia State Board of Elections said that incidents like these are not uncommon. Attorney General Bob McDonnell, representing the elections board, said that this amounts to voter fraud and intimidation. Watchdog groups that monitor elections say tactics like these will continue until Election Day.[1]
