A Fennville Library Levy Renewal measure was on the August 7, 2012 ballot in the Fennville library district area, which is in Allegan County.

This measure sought to renew the current library levy which is set at a rate of $.60 per $1,000 of assessed value for a further ten years in order to continue to pay for library operations costs in the district.[2]

The question on the ballot:

Shall the Fennville District Library be authorized to levy a tax annually upon the taxable value of all property subject to ad valorem taxation within the district of the Library in an amount not to exceed 0.6 mill ($0.60 for each $1,000 of taxable value) for a period of ten (10) years, 2012 through 2021, inclusive, to provide funds for any Library purpose permitted by law?[3]
