A Ferndale City Public Library Bond measure was approved on the April 23, 2013, election ballot in Whatcom County, which is in Washington.

This measure authorized the Ferndale City to increase its debt by $550,000 through issuing general obligation bonds in that amount and levying excess property taxes to repay these bonds in order to fund the construction of a new Ferndale City Public Library.[1]

This measure requires a 3/5ths (60%) super-majority for approval.

Language on the ballot:

Shall the City of Ferndale impose an excess property tax levy in an amount necessary to repay $550,000 in general obligation bonds for the purpose of constructing the new City of Ferndale Public Library, in accordance with RCW 84.52.056 as specified in Ferndale City Council Resolution No. 13-03-04-A?[1][2]
