Ferndale School District Replacement Levy (February 2010)

There was a Ferndale School District Replacement Levy measure on the February 9 ballot in Whatcom County for voters in the Ferndale school district.
This measure was approved
- YES 5,227 (65.79%)
- NO 2,718 (34.21%)[1]
This measure sought to replace an existing levy with a new one that would be levied at a rate of $2.76 per $1,000 of property value.[2] The tax is projected at collecting around $11.2 million for the two years it is place. This will account for around 20 percent of the school district's operating budget.[3]
