A Flagler County School Property Tax Renewal measure was on the November 2, 2010 ballot in Flagler County.

This measure was approved

  • YES 19,018 (61.49%)Approveda
  • NO 11,913 (38.51%)[1]

This measure sought to continue the current school levy of .25 mills for further two years in order to help pay for operational needs of the school district.[2] The school board was hosting 5 meetings for the public in order to help inform them about the tax, the fact that it was nothing new and why the school needed the continued funds and what would happen if the tax was not approved. School officials were only allowed to supply the facts of the issue, not state their position on it.[3]
