National Education Association

The National Education Association is the largest labor union in the United States. It has about 3.2 million members, 14,000 local affiliates and 51 state-level affiliates. In 2005, its members paid a collective $295 million in dues. Through its National Education Association Ballot Fund, it involves itself extensively in ballot measure campaigns around the country.
